Speak it — or show it

Say it. Photograph it.
Draw it precisely.

A real 2D CAD engine — coordinates, snaps, layers, trim, offset, dimensions — that also understands “draw a 4 m by 3 m room and offset the walls 200 inside”, and that turns a photo of the real thing into editable lines. Say “give me a 3D printing file for a horse 20 cm tall” and you get a printable model too.

Speak

“Countertop 2400 by 600, faucet hole 35 mm, 80 from the left.” The AI parses intent; the engine does the maths.

Type & click

Full command line (LINE, TRIM, OFFSET, HATCH, BLOCK…), grips, window selection and every classic tool.

Photograph

Upload a photo, sketch or scanned drawing and get back outline, holes, centre marks and views you can edit.

Photos become drawings

Put a picture of the part on the table

Open the Image tab in any drawing and choose up to four photos from your phone or computer, or take a new photo — the object itself, a hand sketch, or a scanned old drawing.

  1. 1Set the true size. Click two points on the photo and type the real distance. Repeat as often as you like; the badge shows how consistent your measurements are.
  2. 2Ask what you want. “Front and top view of this object”, “trace the outline”, “just the holes”. If a size is missing, the AI asks for it instead of guessing.
  3. 3Check, then accept. The result appears over the photo — guesses drawn dashed, each item tickable, each with a source box on the photo. Accept adds it as normal objects; Undo takes it all away.

Calibrated photos come back at true scale — front, top and side views line up the way a draftsman would put them on paper.

From words to a printable model

3D printing, without learning 3D software

Say “a phone stand” or “a horse 20 cm tall” — AudioCAD builds a simplified model from basic shapes, sits it on the print bed and shows it in a 3D view you can spin, pan and zoom. A 2D / 3D switch sits next to the drawing area.

  • 1Describe it. Voice or typing. If a size is missing, AudioCAD asks for it instead of guessing; then refine by voice — “make it taller”, “make the legs thicker”.
  • 2Extrude your drawing. “Extrude this 5 mm” turns any closed shape — holes included — into a solid plate.
  • 3Export STL any time. From the Output menu, the model info box, or just say “export STL”. The file is in millimetres, sits flat on the bed and is checked to be watertight. Printability notes warn about bed size, thin parts and floating pieces.

Models are saved with the drawing, work with undo and redo, and can be exported again whenever you come back.
